I have you to thank for introducing me to this term. I imagine I use all sorts of life hacks, but I never thought of them that way. Anything that organizes our work or life could be a life hack, so in that case, the software program I use for my novel writing is kind of a life hack. It brings everything I need in one location–my writing, my research, photos, maps, etc.
Love the inclusion of the comments. How fun to see mine and the others there. Thank you!

Oh, Carrie, to share a new phrase with someone who cares about words is a thrill, really. Yes, the term is very lose, for now, and I like your definition a lot. Your software program sounds terrific. Is it commonly used among novelists?

“10 tips to forgive someone who doesn’t deserve to be forgiven”
My wife should probably read that one. It’s painful watching her struggle to try to forgive me all the time. She needs all the help she can get.

Great articles to read. Thanks for sharing. I agree with the life hack one…I take photos of everything with my phone! It’s become my idea control center 🙂

I agree, Jill! My husband shared one of my favorite phone photo tips. He takes pictures of his parking space! This is especially helpful when in big parking lot where everything looks the same and you and you can take a picture of the number or letter that is assigned to your area. Oh, it works great at airports too! Happy September 👍

now that is genius! I love that! Maybe I could take a picture of my hiding place when I hide my favorite candy from the kids. I tend to forget when it’s a really good hiding spot 🙂 ha

You have such great posts Angie ☺ My one life hack would be copious amounts of caffeine and chocolate to keep me fueled throughout the day ☺ So thank you for the recipe. It seems like a healthier treat than homemade fudge ☺

Caffeine and chocolate, a match made in heaven, Kelly! As soon as I purchase more avocado, I’m all over this recipe. If you give it a try, let me know what you think! (Pretending avocado to be like Nutella may be pushing it for me haha.)

Another avocado hack: ripen them in a closed brown bag at room temp 👍

Oh good, Van! I’m having fun with it BUT could use some help with titles. Am I really going to start ever post in this series with “9 life hacks to improve…” I’m bored thinking about it. Any advice is welcome from my wordsmith buddies 😀

Angie, I thought you might like to know that the avocado recipe is actually quite good. It is, however, very thick and seems impossible to puree to a smooth consistency. The texture is a little gritty, it takes some getting used to. I will be taking the remainder to work with me today, I am sure my colleagues will dip into it like vultures 😊

Terrific! I was wondering about the texture. Fortunately for me, I can get past a variety of textures if flavor, variety, or health benefits are there. Take my smoothie, for example 😜. My avocados are ripening 👍 Thanks so much, Kelly and happy weekend!

Those avocado recipes really caught my eye and look soooo delicious! I think I would like to try the chocolate-hazenut avocado spread; like Nutella, but better! Have you tried any of them yet?
