You have so many sides to you, Angie!
I’m heading over to check out your ‘fledgling poetry.’ I write it sometimes, too. Mostly on napkins and post – it notes 🙂

Why yes I do and I drive my loved ones crazy with my many sides, Michelle! Thanks for your kind words and I’ll look forward to reading your poetry. I can only imagine how beautiful your words and emotions will dance together…

Oh this was nice. I have the pleasure of being friends with several poets who have published multiple volumes. But one of my favourite poets that I think you would love is Sharon Olds. Her stuff is graphic and brutal and brilliant. And I don’t know her at all so my recommendation is no too biased.

Thank you for your encouragement and for your recommendation. I look up Sharon Olds. My summer reading list is happily filling up! Happy weekend, John 😀

Good message Angie! I really don’t have a favorite poet. There’s a lot of good reading here on WP. Sometimes I write 😉 ♥

Really like this Angie, nice work! I like Pablo Neruda’s, my favorite Sonnet: XVII.
I prefer quotes to poetry, short, concise and to the point of whatever thought, feeling or emotion you are expressing.

Thank you, friend! I, too, and really enjoy the brevity of both. And thank you for the lead. I’ll check out Sonnet: XVII ❤

Very nice, Angie. Too many have known this bully, and may not have understood the true nature of being “Nobody”. ❤ Van

Truth. And I never want to be Nobody to someone else.

I have two quotes that mean a lot to me. One is for my professional life and the other is for my personal.
Professional: Leadership is action, not position.
Personal: Do not pray for an easy life. Pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.

I love your poem. Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote is one of my husband’s favorites.

It all comes down to responsibility. You are responsible for your reaction because that is all that one can control.

Exactly, Cllifford. Responsibility for one’s own emotions. Responsibility for understanding that our behaviors affect others. Lots of responsibility!
