The big blue western sky is one of my favorite things about Arizona, and life in general. Here are two more blue sky connections that I love.
I mentioned that part of my morning routine includes meditation via Headspace. The above video is part of the introductory lessons and is referred to throughout different series. Life isn’t always easy but the blue sky is still there, without fail, blue sky.
When my oldest son was in high school and wanted suggestions for a baseball walk-up song, I suggested Mr. Blue Sky. I could picture him knocking the ball out of the park into the big blue sky! While he politely (if you think laughing is polite) declined (not menacing enough, I suppose) he has assured me that it is on his list of possible pitching walk-out songs for college. In this case, may the sun shine down on his pitching and the baseballs stay far away from the blue sky 😀
What kind of sky do you love? Do you use Headspace or take time daily to quiet your mind? Are you a fan of ELO?
Wishing you a sunny weekend ~~~~~~~~ Angie Mc
I love Headspace! I also use Rest and Relax and two by “Surf City apps” they are an integral part of my day and most important my all over health.

I love a blue sky with those soft, puffy, cumulus clouds that look like you could bounce around in them. But not too many of them. After all, I don’t want them to block the sun. 🙂

If your son adopts ELO’s “Mr. Blue Sky” as his walk-out mound song in college, he officially will go down as coolest pitcher of this decade in my book, Angie McFly ey-ey-ey. Long live Jeff Lynne’s genius with Electric Light Orchestra.

When that day comes, Mark, you will be among the first to know! Aiden told me his fastball will need to be on fire to get away with that walk-out, lol. Here’s to something in the high 90’s 😀

One of the things I love about Alberta is the sky. It is massive here and we get more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in Canada. Sometimes the sky is so blue it hurts to look at it.

I didn’t know that about Alberta, John. It’s so blue that it hurts to look at? That’s for me! Is it most blue in the summer? I surely hope so.

Yes. Although in winter it can get pretty blue.

Love the blue sky (and ELO), but we’ve had weeks of it here without rain, very rare for this time of year in the northeast. So much so, that in passing by the owner of a tanning shop the other day, I pointed to the sky and said, “Your competition’s a bitch this year, isn’t it ?” She gave me a weak smile and turned her leathery face as she unlocked her shop. ☺ Have a great weekend, Angie 🌞🌎 🌞🌎 ☀️🌎

Even your comments are written beautifully, Van! I’m still sending sunshine to you, because I love it…just don’t tell the leathery lady 😀

No problem. she doesn’t make eye contact with me since that day. I think I touched a nerve ! Keep sending the sun east. ☺

Poor leathery lady! I’ll send some sense of humor along with the sunshine. It may lighten her load ❤

As a faithful person, Sylvester, I’ve found nothing that is contrary to my faith. This is a very important factor to me. They have a free introduction series. If you try it, let me know what you think!

That’s awesome, Angie. If it helps maintain a level of peace and harmony within, without contradicting your faith, it is good. I will let you know. 🙂

I’ve not heard of Head Space, but I can say that after having dark nights of the soul for far too long, blue skies are wonderful and joyful.
And I miss ELO. They were one of the more awesome bands when I was younger. 🙂
