Nestled all snug in my bed, visions of Candy Cane Joe Joe’s dance in my head. Do you like Oreos? Well, Trader Joe’s makes its version, called Joe Joe’s, and they are way swoon-like better. And the peppermint version is the best!
Last month I swooned about Trader Joe’s in general at Mark Bialcsak blog. How I can go on…
Mark and Karen, you both need to fall in love with Trader Joe’s. It may take a few trips but to fall in love you need to get to know each other a bit 🙂 So start with the obvious stuff, chocolate and wine. Seriously, there have been times when all I have in my (full ahem) cart is wine and chocolate. The 2 buck Chucks are plenty good enough for a big party, especially if you make it into Sangria. And every chocolate, I can vouch, is delish and priced right. Currently, I’m obsessing on the pretty multi-colored chocolate covered sunflower seeds.
If Dave gets drift that I’m having a hard day, there’s a good chance that he’ll bring home a bunch of flowers and something yummy home for me from TJs. I also box the stuff up and ship it to my daughter who doesn’t have a TJs. OK, I need to stop there before I go on and on about their cookies and condiments and how when we travel we search out TJ’s for a healthy, cheap meal 😀
Here’s another broad take on The 7 Best Things to Buy at Trader Joe’s. Yes to all!
Do it. Go to Trader Joe’s and find treats galore. And don’t forget the Candy Cane Joe Joe’s {gluten-free version, too!}
Do you shop at Trader Joe’s? What are your favorite finds? If you don’t shop at Trader Joe’s, where is your favorite store to find holiday food treats?
Hope your weekend is sweet! ~~~~~~~~ Angie Mc
I agree, Angie. And even better is the chocolate covered Peppermint Joe Joe’s. Sinfully good!

There isn’t a Trader Joe’s in my area, but next time I’m near one I can’t wait to try their vegan cheese! Until then, the selection at Meijer is getting better and better. I just finished a couple of the Qrunch Burgers I bought there today 🙂

Karen has gone back, Angie McFly, and gotten more chocolate and Cookie Butter Dough or whatever. (I can’t have either of those.) But guess what? New York law does not allow our’s to sell wine? Oh, no!

Dang! And I was going to add that they now sell awesome shiraz in a box from Australia! http://winekick.com/blog/2013/3/30/trader-joes-block-red-shiraz-review Well, when you come our way, you know what you’ll be served 😀
I knew I liked Karen. She has *excellent* taste!

well thx – and he is home for the holiday break – and well, guess what his secret santa gave him – a TJ gift card! – they know him so well.
He also brought home some TJ things for us to try – like raw pumpkin seeds – which are good.

Love Trader Joe’s but unfortunately it is not very close to me at all so I don’t get there too often.

Hi Elaine 😀 I hear, ya! When I lived away from Trader Joe’s I would stock up when visiting towns with one. Mainly cookies 😉

No Trader Joe’s in my part of the world. Usually I just make my own treats.

Well, if you would make treats for me then I wouldn’t need Trader Joe’s, Jovina! 😀

I’ve resisted the urge to get those candy cane joe joes. I guess I better cave next time! Also, don’t forget to stock up on the pumpkin bread if you like it…they are going to take it away soon till next fall. sniff sniff

I’m glad to be a bad, I mean good, influence on you, Jill 😀 And boy are you right! Anything pumpkin there is tremendous. My fave? The pumpkin seed brittle!!! At some point I needed to tell my boys not to let me eat any more, LOL.

I wish we lived near a Trader Joe’s! I’ve been to one, but it was several years ago. Now you have me wondering if they sell online. 🙂
