Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off played a month ago while I drove with my teen son, Ian, and we gave Taylor her due. The girl can sing a popular song and make it stick.
I heard Shake It Off this morning, too, to start off my run, thanks to a new Spotify list, Have a Great Day! Shake off the doubts. Shake off the sore muscles. Shake off the fact that it is Friday and all I want to do is be done with work already. So I ran.
To close my run, the 80’s gods were smiling when the list shuffled to Whitney Houston’s, So Emotional. Considering the many haters, naysayers, blamers and burden-layers, it really is shocking what love can do. Love of self, shown through positive self-regard. Love of others, shown through generosity and kindness. Both are so much bigger than the hate, no, blame, and burden.
Tell me what you think!
Go love and dance it off ❤ ~~~~~~~~ Angie Mc
Hating is such a useless emotion that can also cause your health to suffer. Choose other avenues – you will feel better – and listening to music is a great one.

Hating is awful for the hated and the hater, right Jovina? That’s why we need to put the love out there, through music, through joy, through cooking ❤

I’m in awe of your ability to run. I’d LOVE to be able to run again. Last time I could, I think I was about…hm…say, five. 😉
Shabbat Shalom, Angie!
