My daughter will have her baby any day now.

This Easter I’m away from my husband and sons in Arizona so that I can help her and my son-in-law in Washington.  As we celebrate Easter here by going to church, packing a picnic lunch, eating candy from an Easter basket, and enjoying a sunny day near lambs in pasture, my husband and sons carry on our traditions at home.  Yes, we are separated by miles.  Yes, we feel close.

My eight year old son even understands that babies, and new parents, need lots of tender loving care.  Babies, and their mothers, especially need others to hold their acts together and sacrifice their own comforts in order to launch them securely into their new life together.  Because we can.

So we wait….❤

Love ~~~~~~~~ Angie Mc

We spent our Easter weekend meeting my new little niece and were delighted to be Godparents at her baptism! What a special joy new life is! Praying along as you wait in joyful hope!

    • Oh, Jill, we’re very fortunate to have each other, it is true. We were discussing how we are very grateful to have wrestled with each other (since her birth lol) and come to a place of mutual love and respect. Now wouldn’t be the time to sort stuff out! She was a spirited child and I was a strong willed mama. Somehow we made…and here we are ❤ Thanks for your well-wishes and have a terrific day!

    • You and your family’s blessings mean so much to me and mine, Dane ❤ We are being showered by God's grace and just trying to flow with it although when love gets this big I admit to being a bit overwhelmed! So here's to a day of BIG LOVE! Yes?!

  6. So exciting! Your daughter is blessed to have you there with her. My mom was so much help and brought me amazing “calmness” after having my children, especially the first one. 🙂 I hope all goes well!
